Patient care
The medical physics group of the Department of Nuclear Medicine at the LMU Hospital is closely involved in clinical routine and patient care. The working areas and tasks are very diverse and include, amongst other things, radiation protection, quality assurance of measuring devices, and consulting activities for radionuclide therapies. As part of this comprehensive, interdisciplinary and responsible tasks, there is the possibility to obtain the training and certificate as medical physics expert (MPE) for nuclear medicine therapy and diagnostics.
