Patient-Caregiver Education Programme |
To improve patients' and caregivers' disease specific knowledge, treatment-related skills and self-efficacy, we evaluated a standardized Patient-Caregiver education programme. The feasibility, acceptance, and effect of a structured patient education programme on the patients' self-efficacy was explored and judged to be helpful. The programme has been accomplished in Munich and Hannover. Here we offer the concept and instructions. By means of Checklists (available in German and English) you may identify the needs of the family and use the Information booklet to educate. |
