Physicist, Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Michael Ingrisch is a physicist and joined the Institute of Clinical Radiology as a PhD student in 2006. Since then, he has been working in the field of MRI and has specialized on the quantification of hemodynamics by means of dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI. He applies these methods in  brain and  body imaging, with the aim to characterize tissue, inflammation and tumors. In 2012, Michael received his PhD for his work on the measurement and quantification of cerebral perfusion using dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI.

Michael has co-authored more than 30 original peer-reviewed articles and contributes regularly to international scientific conferences. He is a reviewer in numerous international journals, including European Radiology, Investigative Radiology, Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging and others. Michael is an active member of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine
(ISMRM) and board member of the German Chapter of the ISMRM.
