We are proud to open the applications for the 2018 course of the Distance Learning Program “Principles and Practice of Clinical Research” of Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Again this year, there is the opportunity for applicants from Munich site center to participate in this unique course.

The aim of the PPCR 8-month course is to convey excellent knowledge and skills in both methodology and practical applications of clinical studies from study design, management, analyses, reporting, until publication. This is achieved using the principles of collaborative learning through an online forum in international groups, in which all topics and tasks can be elaborated and solved through a constant exchange of ideas. Moreover, participants will join an interactive videoconference with the Harvard faculty once per week in the Munich site center (Thursdays, 10 pm to 1 am).

The program is designed for clinicians, scientists, pharmacists as well as research staff. The course will start in March 2018 and end in October 2018. The registration fee is $3000. Participants will receive a Certificate from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. PhD students enrolled in the Munich Medical Research School will receive 10 ECTS points for the complete course. The program can optionally be complemented by two additional semesters at Dresden International University to achieve a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in “Clinical Research”.  

The meetings will be held at the Chirurgische Klinik, Campus Innenstadt, Nußbaumstr. 20, Seminarraum 1. The registration deadline is January 31st, 2018.
