Mechanism of Thrombosis

Our work investigates the role of platelets during the development of arterial thrombosis. We focus on the molecular mechanisms that regulate platelet-matrix interactions. Our group established different models of arterial thrombosis which allows us to carefully dissect the different stages of arterial thrombus formation. Further we use a translational research approach to study clinical relevant questions on anticoagulative and antiplatelet therapy regimes.
