Inpatient treatment

If inpatient treatment is necessary (i.e. medically indicated), health insurance companies will cover the costs. If longer stays in hospital are required, extension requests may have to be submitted to the health insurance company. This is usually done in consultation between the treating doctor and the social psychiatry counselling services of the respective ward. If you have any questions please contact our patient administration, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at Tel. +49-89/4400-55507.

To clarify whether private health insurance will cover the costs, please first contact your health insurance company. If you still have questions, you can also contact the administrative assistant in our private outpatient clinic (Ms. Sabine Bogenrieder): Tel. +49-89/4400-55502;
It may take several business days until you receive a reply to your e-mail.

Outpatient treatment:

Costs for emergency treatment at our outpatient clinic will be covered by health insurance companies. Certain conditions must be met for health insurance companies to pay for longer-term treatment at our psychiatric outpatient clinic. Your eligibility can be clarified during your contact with our doctors in cooperation with the social psychiatry counselling centre in our outpatient clinic.

Costs for consultations in a specialist outpatient clinic are usually covered. If you have any questions, please contact the corresponding specialist outpatient clinic.

For participants in the smoke-free course

The course, which lasts about three weeks, costs 250 euros; health insurance companies usually contribute to the cost. Please contact your health insurance company to see if they will cover some or all of the cost.
