Projektbeschreibung

• Akuttherapie des ischämischen Schlaganfalls: Welche Prädiktoren bestimmen den Verlauf im Rahmen der systemischen Thrombolyse und der mechanischen Thrombektomie?
• German Stroke Registry – Endovascular Treatment (GSR): Multizentrisches, prospektives Register zur endovaskulären Schlaganfallbehandlung (in Kooperation mit dem Universitätsklinikum Hamburg Eppendorf sowie der Abteilung für Neuroradiologie Großhadern und dem Institut für Schlaganfall- und Demenzforschung [ISD]).
• Wie sieht eine Optimierung der Zuweisungsstrukturen und der innerklinischen Versorgung bei akutem Schlaganfall aus? Welche Bedeutung kommt der Bildung von Netzwerkstrukturen und der Telemedizin zu? (in Kooperation mit Dr. J. Remi, Dr. K. Hüttemann, Dr. J. Levin, P. Izbeki für das Neurovaskuläre Versorgungsnetwerk Südwestbayern (NEVAS)).
• Bildgebung des akuten Schlaganfalls: Stellenwert der multimodale CCT
• Klinische Erforschung seltener Schlaganfallursachen, insbesondere primäre ZNS-Vaskulitiden, und spinale Ischämien
• Ursachen, Diagnostik und Therapie von Schlaganfällen junger Erwachsener (sog. juveniler Schlaganfälle).
• ESUS – Register. In Kooperation mit der Kardiologie Erfassung von Patienten mit ESUS (embolic stroke of undetermined source) unter den speziellen Aspekten des kardialen Langzeitmonitorings mittels Event Recorder und des persistierenden Foramen Ovale (PFO)

Durchführung klinischer Studien (in Assoziation mit dem Institut für Schlaganfall- und Demenzforschung, ISD und dem DZNE) u.a.:

• RESPECT-ESUS: Randomized, Double-blind, Evaluation in Secondary Stroke Prevention Comparing the EfficaCy and Safety of the Oral Thrombin Inhibitor Dabigatran Etexilate (110 mg or 150 mg, Oral b.i.d.) Versus Acetylsalicylic Acid (100 mg Oral q.d.) in Patients With Embolic Stroke of Undetermined Source (NCT02239120)
• TREAT-CAD: Biomarkers and antithrombotic treatment in cervical artery dissection (NCT02046460)
