- Durchführung klinischer Studien mit neuen Substanzen bei ALS
- Untersuchung der Wirkung palliativmedizinischer Interventionen (z.B. nicht-invasive Heimbeatmung), der Determinanten von Lebensqualität und Lebenssinn sowie der Gründe für Wünsche nach vorzeitiger Lebensbeendigung bei Patienten mit ALS und ihren Angehörigen.
