Here you will find all important information and further links on the treatment of patients who have fled Ukraine.

The LMU Hospital is happy to treat patients who have fled from Ukraine. For this purpose, a treatment voucher for cost coverage by the government of Upper Bavaria is required. You will receive this after official registration for medically necessary treatment.

Emergency treatments are possible at any time, and the necessary documents can also be requested subsequently in these cases. In emergencies, please contact the emergency room of the respective clinic directly. The staff there will be happy to assist you with the admission formalities.

  • What should be considered in an emergency?

In the event of an emergency, you may present yourself to us at any time. The necessary documents can then also be requested afterwards, please go directly to the emergency room of the respective clinic.

  • My treatment started in Ukraine (e.g. chemotherapy, dialysis, radiation, aftercare) must be continued urgently. What needs to be considered?

As soon as you have applied for support services at the Office for Housing and Migration, you will receive a treatment voucher for medically necessary services, with which you are welcome to make an appointment with the respective clinic. For treatments that can be postponed for your child, please apply for a treatment certificate and then make an appointment at the clinic. If possible, please bring any existing medical documents with you to the appointment.
