Logging
Because of safety-relevant occurrences in the past, server-relevant access data is being logged following any access to the web server.
Depending on the access protocol used, the logged data record may contain information on the following contents:
- IP address of the requesting computer
- date and time of the request
- access method/function called for by the requesting computer
- entry values (file name, …) transmitted by the requesting computer
- access status of the web server (file transmitted, file not found, command not executed, etc.)
- name of the requested file
- URL from which the file was requested / the function was prompted
Logged data is being used for the purpose of identification and tracing of non-permissible access attempts and accesses to the web server and – in anonymized form – for optimizing the web contents.
