PD Dr. Sebastian Kobold received the Young Investigator Award of the Melanoma Research Alliance (MRA).

PD Dr. Sebastian Kobold received the Young Investigator Award of the Melanoma Research Alliance (MRA). 75,000 US dollar fund yearly a scientist for a three-year project. Dr. Kobold leads the group of Immunopharmacology of the division of clinical pharmacology at the Klinikum der Universität München in Germany. His research focuses on cancer therapies targeting the immune system especially, how T-cells can be enabled to eradicate tumors. The Melanoma Research Alliance is a non-profit foundation based in Washington D.C., USA. It aims at funding research on new therapies against malignant melanoma. MRA is worldwide the biggest funding agency for research in this field.
