The group "TE" aims at developing three dimensional regenerative bone tissues for clinical applications. A special focus lies on the osteogenic differentiation and the impact of hypoxia in 3D tissues. Current Projects

Group Leader
| Elias Volkmer, MD, studied medicine at the LMU / Munich and at the Harvard Medical School / Boston. He did his doctorate thesis at the department of molecular biology of the Mayo Clinic / Rochester before he started his clinical career at the department of surgery, of the LMU / Munich. Since 2005 he is a member of the Experimental Surgery and Regenerative Medicine. |  |
