Comprehensive Cancer Center of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU Munich)

The University Clinic of the Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) of Munich is one of the national centers of excellence for cancer care in Germany. The principal goal of the Comprehensive Cancer Center (CCC^LMU) consists in the provision of cancer care at the highest academic level. To this end, the CCC^LMU combines the medical facilities with the scientific research programs active at the campus.

The CCC^LMU was established in March, 25th 2010. Its administrative headquarter is integrated into the Oncological Day Care Unit at the Campus Grosshadern.

The CCC^LMU presently coordinates 17 cancer-related organ-centers active at the University Clinic.

Oncological patients treated at the CCC^LMU may benefit from multiple clinical studies and research programs offered to each eligible patient. They will thus have the possibility to take part in medical progress at the earliest time possible.
