How to get to our institute:

By air (Munich Airport):

• Take S-Bahn S8 (every 20 minutes), get off at "Marienplatz".
  There, change for U-Bahn U3 (Direction Olympia-Einkaufszentrum) or U6 (Direction Garching-Forschungszentrum).
  Get off at "Giselastraße", from there the institute is located at about 5 minutes walking distance (aim for the Siegestor, a big white gate in the middle of a roundabout). At the airport you need to buy a one-way-ticket for 4 zones at one of the ticket machines; don't forget to validate your ticket at the entrance to the metro.

• Alternatively, take a Taxi from the airport to the institute (approx. 50 Euro)

By train (Munich Central Station/ Hauptbahnhof):

•  Take S-Bahn towards Marienplatz, and change there for the U-Bahn (see above)
• 

By car:

• The institute is located in the Schwabing quarter, right north of the city center; find your way to Leopoldstrasse, which is the main axis of Schwabing. We are located at Leopoldstrasse, corner Georgenstrasse.
• Parking facilities are very limited around the institute (Georgenstrasse and Leopoldstrasse), in any case only metered parking is available.
• The next taxi stand is right at Siegestor, approximately 5 minutes walking distance from the institute.
